1: Based on the age range and context this term is put in, it can mean a number of different things 1) Middle school age- kissing or making out at most (unless for those few mature sluts who make make it farther) 2) High School- Generally having sex. For most freshman and some sophomores, this means kissing or making out, unless they make it farther which can be common 3) Young adults- sex. 4) Older adults, like parents- Being really nicely helped out

1: An incredibly ambiguous phrase that drives me absolutely insane when people use it.

  * e.g.,  ... John hooked up with Mary. (so what did they actually do? Did they meet at the park? Did they talk? or did they duke like viagra-injected rabbits? who knows...)

1: When 2 people kiss and/or fuck.

  * e.g.,  ... 'I hooked up with your sister'

  * e.g.,  ... a: "so what did you guys do last night."

2: noun: purposely ambiguous, equivocal word to describe almost any sexual action. usually used to exaggerate or minimize what exactly happened. a hook-up can range from a make-out session to full out sex.

  * e.g.,  ... a: "come on! that could mean anything. give me details!

1: Nobody knows exactly, can be anything from holding hands to having anal sex. Pretty sure it drives most normal people insane
